This consultation is not a casual chat - it’s the foundation of the entire process. We meet (usually on-site) to walk through your home, discuss your goals, explore your style preferences, and outline the scope of work. By the end, you’ll have clarity on the path forward and confidence that your project is in expert hands.

Following on I will propose the services that best meet your requirements and how we can best work together to meet your needs and timeline.

From there, I will manage the full design process from concept through to completion: involving you only so much as you choose.  Handing over the reigns will allow you to focus on your everyday, career and family, while I take care of all of the details that go into creating a home that looks stunning and functions seamlessly.

Refresh: One-Off Design Consultation

Sometimes, all you need is a little clarity and a solid plan to move forward with confidence. My one-off design consultation is perfect if you’re stuck, overwhelmed, or just want a designer’s eye on your space before diving in.

In this focused session, we’ll cover things like:

  • Space planning – making sure your layout works for how you actually live.

  • Furniture suggestions – what to keep, what to swap, and what might be missing.

  • Colour palette advice – helping you narrow down the endless swatches and choose with confidence.

  • Styling tips – how to pull your space together with texture, layers, and the right finishing touches.

  • Sourcing suggestions – recommendations for pieces that suit your style and budget.

  • Design dilemmas – got a weird nook or awkward layout? Let’s solve it, together.

Get design support on your terms with device tailored to your evolving needs. Whether you’re decorating in stages or just want a professional in your corner whilst renovating room by room, this flexible retainer gives you access to ongoing advice, whenever you need it. You call the shots and I'm here when needed.

Includes:

  • A set number of hours per month (you choose how many)

  • Email or phone check-ins with access to my calendar

  • Floorplan and layout feedback

  • Design Development

  • Selection of materials, fixtures and fittings

  • Sourcing recommendations (and/or procurement of furniture and furnishings if required)

  • Styling help and product suggestions

Can I upgrade from a consultation to a retainer or full design service?
Absolutely. Many clients start with a one-off consultation and choose to continue once they feel the momentum. I’ll always be honest about what makes the most sense for your project.

What if I don’t know my style?
That’s part of the fun. We’ll figure it out together, piece by piece. You don’t need the words just a few feelings and a sense of what makes you feel at home.  Also magazine tears or instagram images are always welcome.

Is the retainer flexible?
Yes. You can choose how many hours you want each month and adjust as we go. It’s ideal for those working on their home in stages or managing a reno solo.
