At Rickward Design Studio, I work with busy professionals who want their home to be considered and work as hard as they do. My clients don’t have time for endless design decisions or making costly mistakes - rather they they know the value of a home that feels effortless, stylish, and deeply personal.

I bring clarity and confidence to what can otherwise feel like an overwhelming process. Instead of juggling trades, Pinterest boards, and fabric samples, you have me a tertiary qualified design professional who listens carefully, shapes your vision into a cohesive plan, and manages the details to deliver a home that works beautifully for the way you live.

The result is more than a “designer look.” It’s a home that feels tailored to your routines, supports family life, and makes everyday living easier and more enjoyable.

About Me

I get very excited about good design (but recognise not everyone has the same shared passion nor time to devote to their house renovation or interior design project). I understand that my role as a designer is to distil this knowledge and enthusiasm to your home: rest assured I look for opportunities to elevate each and every project I undertake.
You can be confident that I make my processes clear, collaborative, and tailored to your brief. I understand that lives are busy - sometimes crazily so - and that some clients prefer to hand everything over while they get on with work and family, while others enjoy being involved in the details of planning and decision-making. Either way, I guide the process so it feels effortless and the result feels unmistakably yours.

I’m love to encourage my clients to be 'a little bit brave' and like to include colour, texture, and layering in my projects - the elements that make a house feel like home. My approach is thoughtful but never cookie-cutter. A well-loved vintage piece, a splash of colour, or a beautifully chosen artwork can elevate a space.
My goal is always the same: to create rooms that feel welcoming, lived-in, and deeply personal.
